 HOW TO BECOME A DISCO HOUSE PRODUCER (literally) GOOD EVENING, EVERYONE!!! How are you tonight? I'm sorry that it has been a long time since this blog was even a thing. I really need to be on it even more... anyways, since 2026 is the year that disco house revival would hit an all-time high, I really want to give advice to someone who really loves this music and wants to become a full-time disco house producer. I am DJ Supernick, and today I am going to be your instructor. If you are a first-time producer and think it is the best time to start producing music I want to clarify you that making music could take time and talent. I will walk through some of the strategies that I have learned with many producers who use Ableton or FL Studio (I use Ableton so that is the case). So the craziest thing happened today..

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I posted on this blog. I hope you are doing well today. Today, we have two VERY LUCKY finds. I was on Soulseek, and I found this ultra-rare (impossible to find) mix called Fuzemi Records Presents: The Disko Starz Mix #1 from a user named nateevans. I managed to retrieve it and Laberge (one of the OG bloghousers) managed to get in contact The Phantom's Revenge (the legend himself) because apparently there was a missing track from him that was from around the time he started producing music. The Phantom's Revenge released the now-found track "Karma" in 2007 (the same year he started). A new song for the upcoming EP with remixes!

A week ago, an idea came to mind. A track so amazing that sounds an awful lot like Evil Stereo and Lifelike. After searching samples, I knew I found one in particular that came straight from the late '80s. It all started with the experimenting with loops and filters. Once it was just an unfinished preview but my ears were blessed by how it turned out. Then, I continued extending the track and adding more instrument layers. Also, the mastering and mixing took me like an hour or two, I don't know but maybe! The song sounds kinda reverb-ey or somewhat but the rest like the sample chops and synth preset are really good! I visualized something so aquatic, very blue, very light, and super Frutiger Aero-esque. Title is WALK ON WATER . This song will appear as a new single coming to Creux La Nuit these coming weeks. So I just celebrated my 21st birthday recently...

Hello everyone, I am back. Sorry it has been a while. I need to get my Blogger page up and ready. So anyways, I had a whole lot going on. I was doing driving lessons, production for my upcoming album, procrastination time, and then 21 hit me like a TRAIN AT 80 MPH. As far as I know, 2025 still hasn't been the best at times for me and I know many of you are asking me why. Here are 3 main reasons: I haven't been as active. This summer didn't have a soul for me. At times I am feeling lonely. But on the bright side, I started DJing at my local coffee shop two weeks ago, and I am super happy to tell you that I learned a lot from experience on most live DJ sets, like sir Todd Edwards (side note: Inky met him). Not only did I gain the talent from all sets, but I already did some set recordings. Bloghouse Compilation coming soon.

I know I haven't posted things in a while but a good friend of mine (Opierm) is making this new bloghouse compilation album featuring songs by La Bourbelette, Mayo1109, Inky, and me. Here is a bit of insight 😉 BLOG HOUSE  has returned in 2023 by a then-known project called Disko Sunz (now Le Disko Wave), and I joined the group on March 10, 2024. There I started to get into production and learned the cool aspects of the genre. That includes same ol' French house we know and love since the late '90s, but a more modern, refreshing style which includes mp3 attachments and Mediafire and Zshare links. Oh, and I almost forgot: The first song I did, Dear Salsoul, will be turning a year old tomorrow. With all that said, I would love to share a short snippet of the album's song medleys by Future0s.
